This post is the result of a nudge I got from Keerthi a.k.a. ![[info]](http://l-stat.livejournal.com/img/userinfo.gif) subtle_blues and thus is to make her recollect the lively color of Hyderabad.
This picture was taken on my way back from a boat ride to the Buddha Statue at Hussain Sagar recently. I believe that a city's color reflects in its waters.

As I bid farewell to this magical little town this week-end, memories of the past two years roll-over and bring joy to me. I am surely going to miss this place/people a lot. I wish someday(soon) I'll be able to some here again.

Well, to me, this is the best part of the year. We get a break for about 2 1/2 months (June 10th - August 25th) and I get time to do what I wish for provided I have the buck(s). And this summer, just like the last one, I am going to plan a trip to some countries in Europe.
At first glance, I have come-up with Netherlands, Belgium, Luxembourg and France for this year. I had been to Paris last year but missed on the French countryside. Though, Greece and Spain are high on my list, most tours/trips from here aim at taking one near to the beaches and thats not my kind of a holiday.
I am still eligible to get this youth railway pass :), and its not that costly to travel around. Now that I have the countries and a brief outline in my mind, I need to research the places to visit. This sure is going to be fun.
Have a lot of things to do apart from booking the journey, accomodation, etc, I have to make sure that I get an extra battery pack for my digi-cam without fail. |

Wish you all a very Happy and a prosperous Deepawali. Ever since the Univ of Blogging *awarded* me with that degree, I always found myself short of words and hence there wasn't much to write since then.
Well, tomorrow, it is Diwali and here in Umeå, Sweden, we are an Indian community of around 60 people and we are going to have a get-together. Its going to be fun because we will not be celebrating it the usu way making a lot of noise. I am looking forward to a memorable event after quite a long time. |
